On November 26, 2005, the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame ended the regular season by beating Stanford. ND's record of 9 and 2 makes them BCS eligible which is another way of saying that they will be playing in a major Bowl game come this January. This picture is from September 3, 2005, the first game of the season against the Pittsburg Panters. Joey and I were fortunate to be there live and witness the dawn of a new era in ND football in person.
