Well folks, McMaster came up short in their season opener against Sir Wilford Laurier University
on Labour Day up in Waterloo. Final score 36 to 26 but it was close up until the end.Joey was a late scratch, so his name was in the program but he did not dress. The coaches want his hamstring to get 100%. They sure could have used him today.
Joey should be ready to play next Saturday, September 8th against the perennial powerhouse University of Western Ontario. Game time is 1:00 p.m. and it is being broadcast nationally on the Score, cable TV. Check your local listings.

Just checked out tv guide. I will be watching Joey's game on Saturday. Tell him to wave to me when he can! (just joking.) But you and Deb can make a big sign saying hello to me. (maybe the camera might give it, some airtime?) Ahh, anyhow we will be excited for Joey. Take care j.
