Ever Wonder Where Chickens Come From??

Went to visit a classmate (Gabe) from law school on Saturday along with other classmates and significant others.

In addition to practicing law, Gabe owns and runs a chicken barn, in Jordan in the Niagara area, which he took us to see. Here are some shots from one of the two levels on the barn. In this level there are over 15,000 four day old chicks. there are the same number on another level below this one.

They will be raised for eight weeks when they are all about 4 kilos and then sent off to market and then the process starts all over again.
