Deb and I spend a few days in Montreal this Civic Holiday weekend. We have been to Montreal a number of times and always find it relaxing and is a special treat for ourselves.
We always start our trip with our first dinner the the Greek Corner which as you know form previous posts makes the best souvlaki in the world.
This trip we stayed at the Hotel Gault. This is a boutique hotel located very close to Old Montreal and has been opened for about 6 years now. A plaque on the building says that this building was the first ever site in North America of the YMCA in 1851. After the YMCA it was used for textiles.
The outside is rather attractive and the next few shots show you our room which ins the smallest one in the hotel. The room includes a cold breakfast
