One of the things Deb and I have talked about for years was acquiring original pieces of art. Our rules were simple: it had to be Canadian and it had to mean something to us.
As you can see we are off to a good start. The pic above is the painting by Jean Roche Labrie we purchased. It is a scene in a part of Old Montreal.
The one below is one we are really excited about because we had seen his work before in Ontario galleries. The artist is Jacques Tremblay. The oil we have is a streetscape from Mont Royal.
