One of the top attractions in Skagway is a trip on the White Pass Railway. This is a narrow gauge railway right through the mountains that offers spectacular scenery and gives you an appreciation for the engineering and construction techniques of those who built it. The clouds blocked out the summit but we got amazing vistas of the valley below and the river and creeks in the area.
