We left the ship for good around 10:15 am thinking snagging a cab to go to the rail station would be a cinch- not so in France. Despite the efforts of some to butt in line and thanks to the kindness of a Spanish family who let us jump the queue to get cabs so we could make the 11 am train we got onto the train to Paris. I am writing this email as I sit in my seat whizzing past the French countryside. The train is modern and travels very fast but there is absolutely no room for luggage on board. Our bags are siting on seats and thankfully the train is not quite full.
Cordiali saluti - Sent from my iPad.
