Deb and I are in Shipshewana Indiana about 30 miles east of South Bend. We are off to the ND home opener tomorrow. This is Amish country and buggies are everywhere.
It is also a very rural area and quite nice. It is hard to buy a beer here. We had to drive into the next county before we found a liquor store.
Deb and I spent some time shopping before all the stores closed at 5:00 pm. They roll up the streets here after 6.
Anyway here is a pic of the Christmas section of one of the places we were in. It really is not as tacky as these pictures make them out to be.
